There is One Seated on the Throne! 🙌
This past Sunday, Pastor Colt taught us out of Isaiah 6. ✝️
In this text, the prophet Isaiah receives a vision of God in a time of great trial and testing for the nation of Israel.
“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.”
Isaiah 6:1 NKJV
Pastor Colt taught us that this is precisely the view of God we should uphold in today’s global climate. 🌎
A view that acknowledges that God is a Holy and Just King, who is in control. 🙏🏽

Believe and Receive as Favor Follows ❤️
Last Sunday, Pastor Bill taught us about the balance of faith and grace by pointing us back to the root of our salvation.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith.” Ephesians 2:8
Grace is God’s unmerited favor toward us. It enables us to live in righteousness, free from the power of sin and death.
Thankfully, God has made this grace available to all men through Christ’s finished work on the cross! ✝️
Yet, Pastor Bill taught us that this provision of grace requires a true response of the heart in order to be fully attained: the response of faith.
True faith is not passive; it is expressed and acted upon! For “faith without works is dead.” (James 2:26)
Let us then respond to all that God has made available for us by believing and obeying His Son, and thus receiving what Jesus has provided for us at the cross. 🙌

A People of His Presence ❤️
This past Sunday, Pastor Rich preached a message on what it looks like to live a life centered around the presence of God.
He encouraged us in our desires for presence-centered lives, acknowledging that God's desire for this is greater.
He reminded us of the account of Moses, who refused to enter into the Promised Land if the Lord's presence didn't go with him.
He invited us to take this same heart posture today as we partake of the labors and blessings of His kingdom.
“If Your Presence does not go with us,” Moses replied, “do not lead us up from here." Exodus 33:15 BSB

God's Heart is to Heal All Trauma ❤️
Last Sunday, guest speaker Dr. Mike Hutchings spoke of the healing of God being made available for those who suffer from PTSD and trauma.
His insights from over 35 years of pastoral experience enlightened us to the truth that the quality of our lives does not have to be determined or defined by our past wounds.
Instead, our lives are to defined by Jesus who suffered that we may be spiritual, physical, and emotionally whole in Christ. ✝️
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging, we are healed. Isaiah 53:5
In this context, Dr. Hutchings explained that Jesus suffered trauma on our behalf so that ours can be fully healed.
Let us praise and thank our God, who has made the abundant life available through the works of His only begotten Son! Amen. 🙌

The Wonder & Joy of Salvation! Last Sunday, Pastor Colt encouraged us to perceive the wonders and joy in our salvation.
We understood that the state of the Christian who remains aware of Jesus’ past, present, and future works is one of lasting wonder and eternal joy. Pastor Colt also equipped us with 4 strategies to help us endure in this posture:
1. Know where God’s brought you from.
2. Know that you are saved by grace alone.
3. Know that He is with you now.
4. Know of God’s coming salvation.
May we be encouraged to think more about the fullness of our salvation, and be filled with a joyous hope that steadies and anchors our souls in the currents of today.
“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” Philippians 4:4

The King of Glory is Coming In!
Last Sunday, Pastor Julianna preached on Psalm 24.
This psalm speaks of the character of those who can ascend the hill of the LORD, the place where His presence dwells and where we can enjoy fellowship with Him. The one who has clean hands and pure hearts, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god (Psalm 24:4).
Juliana taught us that this is a character that is blessed by the LORD, and where His glory loves to manifest.
How do we become purified? As believers we are cleansed simply by receiving the Father’s love for us through the finished work of the Crucified Son, Jesus, who is able to transform us into His image and likeness.
When we receive His love, we too receive His glory!

Let us Doubt our Doubts! 🔥
Last Sunday, Pastor Bill encouraged us to overcome the hindrances we face in receiving healing.
One of them is doubt.
Doubt often occupies the same space as our faith, making it difficult to truly grasp the fullness of God’s blessings.
Bill reminded us that prayer and fasting are the most effective ways to overcome doubt.
This is precisely what Jesus told the disciples to do when they faced a hindrance in ministering deliverance. Matthew 17:21.
Prayer and fasting strengthens our spirit and weakens our flesh, allowing us to engage in spiritual warfare against our unbelief. ⚔️
Let us then use these spiritual weapons, assured of the glorious victory that awaits us in Christ! 🙌🏾

There is Healing at The Table ❤️
Last Sunday, Pastor Rich taught us out of Isaiah 53 and Matthew 8.
As He connected these scriptures, we understood that just as forgiveness of our sins in the atonement, there is also a component of healing made available to us.
There is forgiveness because the blood of Jesus was shed to remove the effects of sin, allowing repentant sinners to be reconciled to God.
There is healing because His body was broken to remove the effects of the enemy and the results of sin, allowing us to receive healing paid for by the scourging of Jesus' back.
Since the instruments used to make atonement for us are tangibly expressed by the elements of communion, we know that what is found in the atonement is also found in the bread and wine.
Thus, there is healing at the table of the Lord!

“You are the salt of the earth!” 🧂🔥
This past Sunday, Lachlan Warrell preached a message that defined our true purpose on this Earth:
“To be holy, as God is holy.”
A picture of biblical holiness is found in the Beatitudes of Matthew 5. In this scripture, Christ approves of those whose heart posture is pure and peaceful; whose deepest desire is righteousness.
When we commit ourselves to abide by these beautiful attitudes, Jesus calls us “the salt of the earth… the light of the world.”
Therefore, let us achieve our true purpose, living holy lives seasoned with a wonderful flavor that pleases God.

Have faith in God. ❤️
Last Sunday, Pastor Bill strengthened us to truly believe in the promise of healing that Jesus’ salvation brings.
The Greek word used in the scriptures for salvation is sozo. It means “saved, healed, delivered.”
With this in mind, we can understand that our faith in Christ has worked to do more than save us from the wages of sin.
Indeed, it has brought us promises of healing and deliverance in the face of disease and the devil's oppression.
Therefore, let us be like Abraham, who was fully convinced that God was able to do what He had promised.
“If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23
