Pastor Colt shared with us the importance of understanding the beauty of the Trinity and the deeper love story we're a part of. 

He showed us in the scriptures how the Old Testament how God the Father is constantly pointing to Jesus the Son, and in the New Testament Jesus pointing to the Holy Spirit. How our God is truly three in 1.

This past Sunday, Pastor Bill reminded us to fix our eyes on the eternal realm and choose to put on Christ even during troubles and temptations. 

Because what is unseen is eternal. 

As believers, we are called to walk by faith and not by sight, submitting to God's will for our lives in every situation and living by His Word and His Spirit. This is the walk of faith and following Jesus.

Rich challenged us to not only acknowledge and engage with His presence in a Sunday service but also in our workplaces, homes, relationships, & any part of our lives where we haven't allowed him in yet. 

The Spirit is looking to invade and saturate every place we go, so that we may experience the fullness of God.

This past Sunday Pastor Colt shared about the Righteousness of Christ.

Even as believers, we can fall into the lie that our "good" works are what make us right before God. 

When the truth is that our faith in Christ and the shedding of His blood on the cross is the only thing that cleanses us from our sin  and bring us into right standing with God. 

Because of Jesus' sacrifice, God no longer sees our sin nature but He sees us as pure, holy, and righteous before God. 

This is the confidence we have to come before His throne and experience the presence and love of God daily.

Communion, The Jesus Meal ✝️

This past Sunday Pastor Rich shared on the power of Communion and the history of why we partake in this holy meal. 

The act of communion isn't just something we do to remember Jesus' death it's also a proclamation that He died for us and He's coming back again. 

It's also a tradition many generals of the faith fought and died over as it had previously been seen as a way to gain favor with God. 

Taking holy communion is an acknowledgement that through Jesus' body and blood we gain access to Him now and forever in Heaven. 

Let us come to the communion table in reverence.

Put on Christ ✝️

Pastor Bill reminded us this past Sunday that when people or circumstances are coming against us to follow the example of Jesus, and extend kindness and mercy. 

Getting caught up in offense is not the way we're called to respond as believers–whether we're in the wrong of not. 

We're called to a higher standard of living that offers the right cheek when struck on the left. (Matthew 5:39)

Let's learn to abandon the ways of the flesh & put on Christ.
