This past Christmas Eve Sunday, Bill White shared the story of Jesus' birth, the miracle of God incarnate.
Eventhough He was fully God, the King of the universe humbled himself to be born as a baby to also became fully man so he could take our sin punishment on the cross.
This is why we celebrate Christmas–God sent His Son into the earth to accomplish salvation for all people. He did what we couldn't because of His great love for us.
Because of Jesus, we're all invited to put our faith in Jesus to receive God's grace and the free gift of salvation. Will you receive it?

Come and See ✝️
Pastor Rich shared a powerful message reminding us that the Good News of Christ has always been an invitation to Come and See!
We see this truth in the Christmas story as wealthy wise men and shepherds all came to see their long-awaited Messiah at His birth.
We see it when Jesus' first disciples accept the invitation to follow Jesus after He answers their question, "Where are you staying" with a simple "Come and See."
The invitation to come and see Jesus is all throughout scripture because once people saw Him, they knew He was the One they had been longing for.
This is the same invitation Jesus extends to us today. Will you Come and See?

This past Sunday, Pastor Colt continued to share about the importance of standing in the gap and praying for God’s Kingdom to come.
He encouraged us to have the fervor of Simeon & Anna, who discerned Jesus as the Messiah when He was just an infant.
By looking at the praying and fasting lifestyle of Simeon and Anna in scripture, we learn a key to help us continue standing in the gap. That is, through the Scriptures, to have a deeper revelation of Christ and His return and to yield to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
This revelation will help us to continue standing in the gaps we're called to, no matter what challenges come our way!
What gap are you called to stand in?

Cry out for mercy 🙏
This past Sunday, Pastor Bill White taught us to cry out for mercy through prayer as Moses did in Genesis. He invited us all to stand in the gap and pray. Standing in the gap is contending for God's promises in situations that don't look like heaven–yet! As friends of God who do His will, we can pray for our families, friends, cities, and nation and ask God to move!
Bill encouraged us to be known by God through prayer and partner with Him as intercessors following the example of Jesus, our chief intercessor, who is constantly interceding for us.

Let Us Stand in The Gap! 🙌
This past Sunday, Pastor Colt preached a message on the position we as believers ought to take up when the circumstances around us fail to reflect the perfect will of God.
His message was inspired by the narrative of Isaiah 59, where the Lord, saw there was no man able to stand against the judgment demanded by the injustices of ancient Israel. God intervened and by his own arm he brought forth salvation!
This passages points to Jesus himself who was faithful to “stand in the gap” and remove the sins of all who would trust in him. ❤️🔥
To stand in the gap is to stand in between the realities of the Earth and the realities of God’s advancing kingdom.
To prayerfully act and respond in favor of God’s desires for the world even in spite of its current trials. 🌎
Pastor Colt taught us that we are all called to stand in the gap, but in order to do so effectively we must equip ourselves with the same armor that Christ equipped Himself with.
“He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation.” Isaiah 59:17 ⚔️🛡️
Let us not grow weary in praying fervently to see the will of God manifest in the lives of those whom we love and in light of the injustices around us. Amen! ✝️

Build Your Church! ❤️
Last Sunday, Pastor Rich preached a message out of Ephesians 2 and 4 titled “Apostolic Body Builders.”
We were brought to the reality of the Lord’s desire to build His church through us, His people.
Rich taught us that we each have an apostolic calling and a work to do in fulfilling the Lord’s desire.
Building God’s church, first starts with understanding that Jesus himself is the Chief Cornerstone, the very foundation we build upon.
Building God’s church is also built upon God’s people. Therefore, it is necessary to respond to our apostolic callings by focusing on the discipleship of believers.
For we as members of Christ’s body “are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.”
Ephesians 2:22 NIV

“All that I Have Commanded You” ❤️
Last Sunday, Young Adult Pastor Lachlan Warell preached a message on the Great Commission.
Lachlan encouraged us to not be solely satisfied with knowing about the Great Commission but to fully live out and fulfill it.
Before Christ ascended to heaven, He said these very words to His disciples:
““All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.””
Matthew 28:18-20 NIV
With these words, Christ expressed to His disciples what His expectations were. That everything they were to do to spread the Gospel and build the Kingdom of God was to be preoccupied with the making of disciples of all nations. 🙌
These words carry the same weight for Christians today.
Let us then go out empowered and fulfill the Great Commission! 🔥

Do Not Be Afraid! 🙌
This past Sunday, Pastor Colt preached a sermon titled “Overcoming Fear and Disappointment.”
He led us to understand that while fear may plague the human heart, yet blood of Jesus is fully able to fully overcome it. ❤️
Pastor Colt further explained the effects that fear can have on us, by looking at the different ways King David responded to fear in his life:
1. Fear Can Consume You
(1 Samuel 17 & 21)
2. Fear Can Cause You to Check Out
(1 Samuel 21)
3. Fear Can Draw You Near to God
(Psalm 33 & 34)
In the midst of our fears, our hope is that we seize the opportunity to draw near to the presence of the Lord and receive an impartation of the all-conquering Spirit of the Fear of the Lord. 💪🏽
For truly, the sight of Jesus is the ultimate remedy to receive deliverance from our fears. 🕊️

This past Sunday, Pastors Bill and Tammie shared a message about what leadership looks like in the kingdom of God. ✝️
This message was timely for our community because we had gathered together to honor certain members of our community for a special Ordination Service.
The message was out of John 13, a scene in which Jesus is seen washing His disciple’s feet.
Bill helped us to understand that Jesus, in his humble and devoted service to his disciples, modeled what true kingdom leadership looks like. This is to be the example we follow in our ministries.
To add, Tammie counseled the newly ordained ministers through the wisdom she received at the beginning of her ministry.
She warmly expressed, “Don’t work on your ministry, work on your heart before the LORD.”
All in all, this service was a time of reflection and rejoicing for our congregation, allowing us to grow in gratitude for the way our Lord Jesus is faithful and gentle toward us in His leadings. Amen.

His Presence Changes Everything 🕊️
Last Sunday, Pastor Rich encouraged us to enter into God’s presence with fear and confidence. 🙌
We were reminded of the biblical principles that secure us in our access to God.
“But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
Ephesians 2:13 NIV ✝️
Just as the blood of Christ assures us, so do the promises of blessing for those who hold fast to this access.
Rich taught us that to attain such promises there must be a rightful approach to Him.
“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,”
Acts 3:19 NKJV
Let us then sincerely repent, boldly approach the throne of grace, and freely receive refreshing!
